The age limit for unreserved candidates was generally between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2025, with age relaxations applicable for OBC/MOBC, SC/ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories as per government norms.
Selected teachers will be placed in Pay Band – 2 (PB-2), with a salary scale ranging from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 70,000, along with applicable Grade Pay and other allowances as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019.”

“We had promised to provide one lakh government jobs.
