Assam Amends Shops & Establishment Act, Boosts Worker Leave, Overtime
The Government of Assam has enacted the Assam Shops And Establishment (Amendment) Act, 2026, revising employment conditions with new provisions for earned leave and overtime pay for workers in commercial establishments.
