Assam to Fill 30,032 Teacher Vacancies in Phased Recruitment Drive
Assam’s School Education Department will undertake a phased recruitment drive to fill 30,032 vacant teaching posts across government and provincialised schools, Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu announced in the Legislative Assembly on July 12, 2026.
