Assam Welfare Schemes to Resume August 1 After Budget Passage
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that government welfare and development schemes will resume disbursing benefits from August 1, 2026, following the passage of the full state budget in the upcoming July Assembly session.
