The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam, has announced spot admissions for Undergraduate Programmes for the 2026-27 academic session from June 15 to June 17, 2026. New applicants can register on the SAMARTH portal until June 17.
The Assam Higher Education Department has made Aadhaar numbers and Aadhaar-linked bank accounts mandatory for students to avail benefits under various government welfare schemes, including the Fee Waiver Scheme and Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina/Babu Aasoni. Universities and colleges are directed to ensure accurate Aadhaar details are uploaded and updated on the SAMARTH portal.
